Today, only the walls, alter stone and font, survive. The Well is simply a hole in the marshy ground from which water flows. As can be seen from the photograph, the surrounding trees bear evidence that some folk still believe in its curative properties.
According to folklore, if a piece of cloth or garment is placed at the Well, their complaint will be cured as the fabric decomposes.
